Friends of Mandell Park hosts workdays typically on the last Saturday of the month, but occasionally we host a pop-up workday if there is enough that needs to be done immediately. We do a variety of different tasks that clean up and improve Mandell Park. The work may include trimming trees, weeding the bioswales, cleaning Skip’s shed, turning compost, and other chores as they come up.

The workday schedule is below. We generally start at either 8am or 9am - be sure to e-mail us to get updates on start times and also to receive invitations the pop-up workdays. Tools will be supplied to do the work. Please consider joining us for this opportunity to get down and probably dirty while helping maintain Mandell Park.  If you come please wear gloves and a hat as the sun will still be very bright (we hope). Much of what we plan to do can be done in the rain, so come rain or shine.
